A New Garden Community for Basingstoke and Deane
We are pleased to announce proposals for Upper Swallick, a new garden village for Basingstoke & Deane. Our vision is to create a high-quality, well-connected village which respects its landscape setting and that both new and existing residents will be proud of.
The landscape-led Garden Village will deliver much-needed new homes, schools, local amenities and publicly accessible green spaces .
Located less than a kilometre from the southern edge of Basingstoke and the M3, the site is ideally placed to provide homes in close proximity to where both housing demand and need is greatest.
We intend to submit an outline planning application to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in the next couple of months and welcome your feedback as our plans evolve. This website provides information about the proposals, details of upcoming public exhibition events and opportunities for you to share your views with the project team.
